The Mola Mola has been seen in Crystal Bay, at Nusa Penida, on the "otherside" of Q-Dive Bali. The ocean sunfish (Mola mola) is the world's largest known bony fish, sharks and rays are cartilaginous, not bony. They can weigh about 3000 lb. and some individuals reaching 11 ft. (3 m.)
Mola is the latin word for millstone, the mola mola eats jellyfish.

The "Whalefish", spotted at BiasTugel. Photographed by Darta, instructor of Q-Dive Bali and buddied by Peter Agterberg, a Dutchman trained by Q Dive Bali for Divemaster. The Whalefish lives normally a few thousand meters deep, but sometimes they come up to shallow waters to seek for food.
BiasTugel is one of the house reefs of Q-Dive Bali.

On 20 september, Q-Dive Bali coordinates the international cleanup day of Project Aware for the Blue Lagoon Reef in Padangbai.
On this day; the non profit dives will cost only 10,- euro
and on the equipment renting, will be a 50% discount.

Together, with colleague dive centers in Padangbai, the Resort took part for a cleaning action in Padangbai. From a ecologic strategy we have cleaned the beach and also the different dive sites.

Today we got the contract of our new boat. This boat; Q-BOAT, is suitable for 10-12 divers excl. crew and will be equipped with 2x 200PK engines.
On 15 July 2008, the Q-BOAT will be ready.

PADI gave Q-Dive Bali, a "Dive Resort" status.
