THE DIVE SITES

The Blue Lagoon area is easy to dive. It is close to our dive resort and very convenient. Shallow waters for the beginning diver up to thirty meters for the more expirienced diver. Tanjung Sari, the Wall, Bias Tugal, The Ferry Channel, Silayukti Temple and Jupung are all part of this beautiful area. There is a big change you will see reef sharks, sepia’s en also smaller fish, like the frogfish and the leafy scorpion fish. Many nudibranches in the most beautiful colors and off course a lot of healthy coral.
Bias Tugal is a dive site in the Blue Lagon area where you can make a deep dive up to 27 meter. Here are living the very special pygmy seahorses.
Temple Point or Jepung with many corals and all sorts off tropical fish will inspire you to dive more.

Nusa Penida is a little bit more daring and it's the place to be. This big island in the southeast of Bali will be entered by our fast boat. Within 25 minutes you will be there and you can make beautiful current dives. The corals at Nusa Penida are counted to the most beautiful of Bali. Making video’s and photo’s is a very popular activity. The current will take you on her wings and you will see the 7.000 meter long reef almost full automatic. There are several dive sites at Nusa Penida.
Manta Point is the cleaning station for the huge Manta Rays. Most of the time 5-10 manta’s are present, but if you are a lucky diver it will go up to sometimes 50! It is spectacular to see this magnificent animal of the ocean.
Crystal Bay the dive site where you can see the mola-mola (sunfish). This very rare animal can be up in size 4 x 4 meter. The mola-mola likes colder waters and currents and therefore the best time to spot it, is from July until November. If we can spot the manta ray as well as the mola-mola on this daytrip than this will be for you the highlight of your holiday.

Biaha Cave as the name already tells you is a big shark cave. It’s starting at shallow waters at only 12 meter. We will see reef sharks, lobsters, lionfish and many colorful other fishes are living in this cave. On the way out you'll find a wall of coral.

Gili Tepekong has (strong) currents, so it will be exiting and bigger fish apears. Reefsharks, tuna, napoleon fish, bumpedhead parrotfish and also the mola-mola are spotted many times. In 2006 even a hammerhead shark has been spotted here! There is also a cave, easy to entrance, and strarting at 17 meter and ending at 27 meter of depth. On the way out there is a drop-off with magnificent corals.

The sister island Gili Mimpang accomodates Turtles, reefsharks and a lot of beautifull coral what will make this dive to a special one.

Tulamben with its shipwreck. At 40 meters from the beach of Tulamben there rests the on 11th January 1963 by the Japanese bombed shipwreck of the  American USS Liberty. The 120 meter long oxidized open shipwreck weights 6.211 tons and is overwhelmed with corals. The diving conditions are fantastic and a special certificate is not needed. Not only the quantity of fish is extreme but also the variety is phenomenal. If you like to take pictures or make a video? This is your change. Besides the shipwreck of the USS Liberty there are more nice divestites as Batu Kelebit or Kelebit Rocks. The Coral Garden, seperated by white sandy channels, is rich and very healthy. The currents are protected by the steep rockformations.
